Who Are Aion and What’s Their Vision for the UK Market?

It offers a competitive all-electric range of up to around 317 miles (WLTP) from its ~75 kWh battery, placing it firmly among key rivals in the mid-size EV SUV class. Its front-wheel-drive setup is tuned for efficiency and everyday usability.

Tech and Safety Features Worth Noting

In terms of safety, the Aion V is equipped with a thorough advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) that offers features such as automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot monitoring, catering to both urban and highway driving conditions. Furthermore, it includes additional passive safety components like a comprehensive airbag system and child ISOFIX anchor points, enhancing overall protection. The cabin design is straightforward yet intelligent, providing plenty of storage compartments, adjustable seating, and thoughtful details that enhance comfort for both short trips and longer journeys.

The practicality is further enhanced by rear seats that fold flat, increasing cargo capacity by 440L. This allows the UT to accommodate groceries, luggage, or weekend equipment.
